Gachiakuta Manga Online, Chapter 24

In Gachiakuta Chapter 24, titled “Rudo’s Vital Instrument: P.S. He Went On A Diet”, the story begins with a lighthearted moment as Rudo, now back to his normal size after overindulging in sweets, stands outside Janitor HQ with Enjin, Zanka, and Riyou. They tease him about his appetite, but the focus quickly shifts to his powers. Zanka suggests that Rudo’s Jinki might only work with broken or discarded objects. To test the theory, they give Rudo a pile of broken items, and he successfully transforms one into a weapon, proving Zanka right. Rudo tries multiple transformations in a row, but overexerts himself and ends up with a nosebleed, showing that while his gloves are powerful, his body isn’t fully conditioned to handle them yet.

Enjin explains that Rudo’s power isn’t just about fixing things physically—it’s about restoring them with care and intention, which influences the strength and form of the resulting Jinki. He reassures Rudo that he didn’t destroy Griss’s amulet during the earlier fight; rather, he used up its remaining “value” to save him. The idea that Rudo’s ability is fundamentally restorative helps him better understand his purpose. Later, Riyou encourages Rudo to name his Jinki, revealing that everyone has a personalized name for their weapons—hers is “The Ripper,” Enjin’s is “Umbreaker,” and Zanka’s is “Love Stick.” Though Rudo hasn’t chosen a name yet, this moment adds depth to the lore around Jinki and the weapon “series.” Meanwhile, the scene shifts to the Vandal hideout, where members report their findings to their boss. They mention key terms like “Janitors,” “The City of Arts,” “Desert Altar,” “Jinki,” “Series,” and “Watchman Series,” confirming that Rudo and his gloves are now at the center of a much larger and more dangerous plot.
