Gachiakuta Manga Online, Chapter 26

In Gachiakuta Chapter 26, titled “The City of Graffiti”, Rudo and his team of Janitors arrive at a unique place called Canvas Town, a dome-shaped city once known as the City of Arts. The town was built as a sanctuary where graffiti artists could create freely, protected from the toxic “trash rain” that falls from the sky. As they approach, they notice two outsiders being repelled by an invisible barrier, but Enjin and the group are able to walk through it easily. Enjin explains that the city is protected by a mystical talisman, which allows only those without harmful intent to pass. Once inside, Rudo is amazed by the colorful murals and the vibrant artistic energy that fills the town.

The group has come to meet Gob, a legendary graffiti artist and a generational Jinki user whose power allowed him to infuse emotion and protection into his art. However, they are soon met with heartbreaking news: Gob has died earlier that day due to exposure from repeatedly removing his mask to paint in contaminated areas. This moment deeply affects everyone, especially after they realize that the emotional girl who briefly bumped into Enjin earlier is Gob’s successor, referred to as “The Heiress.” The responsibility of inheriting Gob’s Jinki and protecting the city now falls to her. The chapter beautifully blends world-building, emotional storytelling, and visual imagination, highlighting a powerful culture of expression in the abyss and setting the stage for new conflicts as the team navigates this artistic but fragile city.
